EbonyLife ON provides viewers outside Africa with online and mobile access to a variety of exciting and original programmes

As part of the mission to change the African narrative and continuously provide viewers with top-notch, new content, EbonyLife TV is excited to introduce EbonyLife ON, its video on-demand service. EbonyLife ON is for anyone outside Africa who wants to access authentic, well-made programmes that showcase positive and dynamic stories from the continent.

Some of the programmes that viewers can look forward to include the gripping, glossy dramas that EbonyLife is known for: The Governor, which chronicles the struggles of the first female governor in Nigeria; Fifty, a series adaptation of the 2015 hit movie, which follows four women in their fifties through the ups and downs of their lives in Lagos; and Sons of the Caliphate, a drama about feuding between powerful, political families in northern Nigeria. The EbonyLife ON service provides a fresh, on-demand viewing experience that can be enjoyed on ebonylifeon.com or via the mobile app. For a monthly fee of only $4.99, viewers can get access to gripping series, riveting Nollywood movies and unique documentaries. As part of an ‘early adopter’ campaign, anyone who subscribes before January 31st, 2018 will get an early bird discount of $2.99, monthly.

The CEO of EbonyLife TV, Mo Abudu, is optimistic about the opportunity to reach a larger category of viewers. “We are thrilled that our increasing audience in the diaspora can now enjoy our content, on the go. With this service, we are able to provide them with quality programmes, made in Africa, for the world,” she said.
