Manny Pacquiao is most reputed as one of the best pound for pound boxer of all times but he is also a politician and lawmaker in the Philippines.

Pacquiao who lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr in a fight dubbed “Fight of the Century” has shown he has a big heart.

The selfless boxer built houses for thousands of residents in his constituency and gave them out for free, sending a message to other lawmakers across the world especially those from Africa and Nigeria who have been repeatedly accused of doing very little for their constituencies.

On 14 February, on his official Twitter account, he wrote: “I am so happy giving these houses free to my constituents in Sarangani Province for more than thousand families.”

His gesture did not go unnoticed as by millions on Twitter as they prayed for him and wished him well.

However, the pound boxer and lawmaker, Pacquiao has formally declared he is running for senator.
