· Sophisticat boss clocks 65, savour 42nd wedding anniversary at private medical spa
·
Italy throbs in unprecedented spasms, as you read. A part of Italy to be precise; the Villa Eden, Merano, in d Italian Alps pulsates with love, and the coastlines heave with rumblings of extraordinary, epic festivity as Lanre Ogunlesi, Sophisticat boss celebrates his 65th birthday and 42nd wedding anniversary with Modupe, his dashing wife.

As he adds another milestone to his rich and inspiring life, Lanre and his wife, who clocked 65 last year, opted to flee Lagos’ maddening crowd and cluttered resorts for the peace of the world’s elite medical spa, safely tucked in the Italian Alps.

The couple are indeed full of bliss and gratitude as they celebrate each other and their marriage of 42 years. Lanre decided to trim his schedule and spend quality time with his wife by celebrating his birthday and over four decades wedding anniversary far from the noise and bluster of Nigeria’s high society.

The humble, peace-loving couple celebrate away from home even as well-wishers at home and abroad treat them to a flurry of goodwill and congratulatory messages. But as the messages pour in, Lanre and Modupe immerse in undiluted fun, necking and giggling, and professing love to each other with hearts reignited and set alight.

There is no gainsaying they are really in love with each other. Lanre, is undoubtedly a ladies’ man but Modupe loves him despite the heartrending reality.
