The Easter festivity period is fast approaching and the sociable and charismatic king, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye is ready to make it a ceremony to remember for the people of the ancient city of Ile-Ife.
The fun loving Ooni has endorsed first of its kind remarkable event, tagged “Ile-Ife Easter Fiesta and Coronation concert” initiated by In-House Entertainment ltd. The concert promises to be remarkable because it will showcase many aesthetics of the Ancient city, lots of cultural/traditional and contemporary music, as well as the rich Yoruba heritage.
The innovative King, who before his ascension to the throne was known for his flair for making people happy, irrespective of the means has thrown in his support just to see that the people of Ile-Ife have a joyous Easter celebration that has never been recorded in the history of Ile-Ife.
According the Ooni who appreciated the initiative and blessed the event organizers, he said, “I am very impressed with this initiative and you can count on my support. While some people feel businesses cannot be done in Ife, you have chosen to bring the world to Ife, and at the end showcase our great city, I am very impressed and I will also try on your behalf to reach out to brands for support”.
Excited over the approval, the project manager, Ayo George said, “I am undoubtedly very elated to have met the Ooni of Ife, which is a dream come true for me and my team. His Imperial Majesty was very impressed with our plans and gave us a royal assignment to inform the world that the city is actually pronounced Ile-Ife (land of expansion) and not Ile-Ife (house of Ife), and I can tell you for free that His Majesty’s passion to see young people excel is almost unbelievable
Speaking further, George revealed that a financial institution immediately signified interest to become the official bank of the event as soon as the news of the endorsement broke, “We are excited that corporate brands have seen the potential in this event with the kind of personality figure involved alongside other eminent personalities that will be unveiled as the event Patron and Grand Patron in the days ahead and we shall be also be unveiling all our corporate brand support in a few days”, George concluded.
