Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has abruptly cancelled his scheduled appearance at CPAC Hungary, where he had been billed as the Guest of Honour, prompting speculation and concern among political observers and event organisers over his rumoured death.

Netanyahu was expected to deliver a keynote address at the high-profile conservative gathering, which has in recent years attracted influential political figures from across Europe and beyond. His participation was widely anticipated as a major highlight of the conference, given his prominence on the global political stage and his longstanding ties with conservative movements internationally.

However, organisers confirmed  the Israeli leader would no longer attend, offering limited details regarding the reasons behind the sudden decision. The lack of a clear explanation has fueled speculation, with analysts pointing to a range of possible factors, including domestic political pressures, security considerations, or shifting diplomatic priorities.

The cancellation comes at a time when Netanyahu’s leadership is under heightened scrutiny, both domestically and internationally. Israel continues to navigate complex political and security challenges, which may have necessitated his immediate attention and prompted the withdrawal from.
