Trash transformation secret start to unfold itself in Nigeria few years ago but many people is yet to know how it can give them good life. Chief Olusegun Kowontan, the Chief Executive Officer of The Project Fix Nigeria Platform

and the Proponent of the EKO O GBADOTI meaning Lagos Detests Dirt & Pollution Advocacy said this while giving his speech recently, at a seminar organised for people living in Alimosho area of Lagos State.

According to Kowontan, the seminar which is centered on how to trade trash for cash, is to enlighten the residents on how to be useful to themselves without leaning on anyone. He further explain that ‘EKO O GBADOTI’ is going to be a multi million naira project that will eventually open the eyes of the youths to what they have been missing in trade field.

Recycling of trash has been a long time practice even in advanced countries but few people in Nigeria especially the youth are yet to know they can make a lot of money from gathering trash.

“It is important to attend our seminars so as to know how to separate trash, opportunity to even meet stake holders, it is a multi million naira project which will liberate so many from poverty” Kowontan Affirmed.

Though, the project is already doing good but there is a need to orientate the communities to let them know what they have been loosing by giving their trash out to those who trade them for cash.

Present at the seminar are, the market leaders, representatives from local Council areas, residents of Alimosho, recyclers and stakeholders.
