Ex-Wife Drags Reno Omokri Over Neglecting Son With Special Needs

Omokri Vows To Destroy Peter Obi's Political Career

Tuokpe Onuwaje, the estranged first wife of former presidential aide Reno Omokri, has accused him of neglecting their son with special needs while allegedly prioritising social media appearances.

In a Facebook post on Monday, Onuwaje claimed that Omokri had not spent meaningful time with their son since June 2024, more than a year ago.

She alleged that his occasional visits were staged for the cameras rather than genuine efforts to bond with the boy, who requires extra care and attention.

“Stop showing up just for photo ops; show up for real life. Our son with special needs is waiting for quality time with his dad, not just the fleeting visits you do with his siblings.

“You haven’t seen nor spent time with your son since June 2024! Over a year,” she wrote.

Onuwaje urged her former husband to be more present in his children’s lives beyond curated online posts.

“Prioritise meaningful moments over social media validation. Be present, be involved, and be a constant in your children’s lives.

“Real parenting happens in the everyday moments, not just in staged photos. Put down the camera,” she added.
