Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has declared that Nigeria is heading into a period of intensified hardship, warning that the worst days are still ahead for the nation.
In a statement released from his Lagos church, the cleric said that unless urgent steps are taken by the government to address economic instability and rising insecurity, the country will experience deeper suffering and public unrest.

“There will be more suffering, and Nigerians will face severe economic pressure, food shortages, and continued insecurity. Things will become more difficult for the common man if the current situation persists.
Ayodele admonished Nigerians to brace up for a hard start in the New Year saying: “I foresee that at the beginning of the year 2025, Nigeria will experience lots of ups and downs. The year will start with confusion here and there even as people will be complaining.
The spirit of God says Nigerians must fast, pray and seek the face of God in the first seven days of the new year because of five major things. The spirit of the Lord revealed to me that things will be difficult even as the economy will be sluggish.”
“Hunger will cause pandemonium in the country. The hardship will be so severe that the impact will be felt in the nooks and crannies of the country. Things are going to be tough if the government does not proffer solutions in time because many formulas applied will not yield the expected result unless the government retraces its steps.”
