The actress celebrated her brother Sammy’s release from prison, all while taking a sharp dig at her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

With laughter, Regina spoke about the immense love and support she felt during a tense period in her marriage.

From her parents to celebrities like Mercy Johnson, Doris Ogalala, Omoyele Sowore, and countless online supporters, everyone rallied to secure her brother’s freedom.

Amid the joy, Regina didn’t hold back. She accused Ned Nwoko of abusing his power and trying to sway public opinion against her.

“Joke on you Ned, you thought people will hate me,” she said, asserting her refusal to be mocked or pitied.

The actress also revealed her plan to celebrate the milestone with a drink in hand, calling herself “very unserious” but undeniably happy. Fans have flooded social media with reactions to the heartfelt and fiery video.

Social media reactions
Meanwhile, her video has sparked discussion on social media as Nigerians shared mixed opinions.

Theyfwstephen said: “I can never support an APC politician no matter what. Billionaire senator my foot, he should come and explain where he got his billions from. No matter what he accused you of doing, he is wrong.”

Telecom wrote: “That’s such a confident and graceful response from Regina. She’s clearly learned how to rise above public opinion and focus on the people who truly support her. It’s nice to see her embracing positivity and staying grounded through it all.”

Mezie wrote: “Majority of the concerns are not love, many spoke up because it was an act of bully, intimidation, suppression and oppression from Ned against your family.

“Personally, I spoke up because it was an act of iniustice to use the instrumentalities of government to arrest and incarcerate Sammy for standing up for his sister.

“That said, I also have to say it to your face that you made a wrong decision to have even accepted to marry your grandpa for whatever reason.

“You’re not in the same generation with Ned Nwoko. Ned is almost rounding up his life while you’re only starting yours – you both shouldn’t even marry for any reason to begin with.

“If Ned was a poor man, you wouldn’t have married him. So whenever I hear you say you didn’t marry Ned for the money, I just pause and laugh. You married him for his handsomeness?”

Sidiq wrote: “As some stands with Regina, some stands with Ned too. She don achieve too much and chop Enjoyment wey her career as an actress can’t afford.”

Oluwadarasimi wrote: “Who notice she has always been the one mentioning Ned. Always steering public interest. Either you like it or not she’s the problem. And Ned is smarter than her. Anyway she said it herself that his always two step ahead of her.”
