“If I want to go to a mosque, I’ll go. I’ll support them because we’re all Nigerians.”
Wike made this comment in response to someone referring to him as a member of the Anglican Church. He explained that, as a leader, his job is to serve everyone, no matter their religion or where they come from. He also spoke about his work in Abuja and challenged people to judge for themselves whether the city is improving or not. “Challenge me in Abuja, whether it’s working or not,” he said confidently.
Wike encouraged Nigerians to be wise when choosing leaders and not to be misled by promises.
