The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church (IESC) Worldwide, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has shared what he describes as a divine revelation regarding Nigeria’s Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, ahead of the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against the Benin Republic.
During a Facebook live session, Primate Ayodele stated that God revealed to him that some of the players currently representing Nigeria are not fit to wear the national colors.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s selection, pointing out that the Super Eagles have lost their fighting spirit and identity.
According to him, “People like Nwabali should not be playing. These current Eagles are not superstars. They are killing our country and why must we spend money on them?”
The prophet lamented that the Super Eagles’ current form does not inspire confidence ahead of the decisive fixture. He warned that unless the coaching staff makes critical adjustments, Nigeria might fall short of expectations.
Ayodele further noted that the team needs a major overhaul, both technically and spiritually, to regain its past glory. He emphasized that the Super Eagles’ problem is not only tactical but also spiritual, insisting that without divine direction, their struggles will continue.
As Nigeria prepares to face Benin Republic, Ayodele’s remarks have sparked fresh debate among football enthusiasts, with many calling for better team management and renewed commitment from the players to restore national pride.
