For years, Seyi Ariyo, an actress popularly known as Shebaby, has been away from the entertainment scene and in an attempt to bounce back and get her groove on, the actress decided to take some of her recent projects to London for publicity and promotion.

Since she announced to her fans that she was in the UK to promote her works, some people have been saying that she was probably sponsored by a wealthy ‘sugar daddy’.

In a chat withour correspondent, the singer hinted that she truly had a sugar daddy and she disclosed how she raised money to fund her projects.

She said, “No one sponsored my trip, God has been faithful (to me). People will always talk, so that’s no news. God is my sugar daddy; He has been spoiling me silly in recent times and I am overly grateful to him. I am able to fund my projects by myself because I am a very versatile actress and I have other businesses, that I do by the side.

“I am in the UK mainly to launch my new comedy movie, ‘Sibebi’, and to officially release my song, ‘Mr. DJ’, featuring Oritsefemi and Jaywon,” she said.

She said that the reason why she left the entertainment scene was to raise a family and that even though, the break seemed to have had an adverse effect on her career, she had no regrets.

“Yes, my break from the industry had an adverse effect on my career because one has to stay relevant in whatever field one is. My break from my career was to have a family of my own, but I do not regret the decision. I am back and better,” the actress said.
