Renowned spiritual leader and founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a strong warning to Adeleke, advising him against defecting to the Accord Party ahead of the 2027 political season.
According to the cleric, any attempt by the politician to seek refuge in Accord will lead to a political dead end.
Primate Ayodele stated that he personally holds affection for Adeleke but insisted that sentiment must not override spiritual direction and political reality; Speaking during a session with journalists, he stressed that the path Adeleke is contemplating would “shut all doors” before the next election cycle.
“I love Adeleke,” Ayodele declared; “But if he goes to the Accord Party, there is no way for him there. It will not work; The best move he can make now is to go back and beg the leaders in ADC; He can still find his way in ADC if he humbles himself and makes peace.”
The cleric emphasized that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) remains the only platform with spiritual and political alignment for Adeleke’s aspirations; He urged him to ignore any promises being made by Accord Party figures, warning that such assurances would crumble when it matters most.
Ayodele added that reconciliation with ADC stakeholders is still possible, but the window of opportunity will not remain open indefinitely; He encouraged Adeleke to act swiftly, describing the party as the only “road that can lead him to relevance.”
